Launch of OECD and NIFU reports

The OECD and NIFU (Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education) have written two reports commissioned by the Norwegian Commision on Gender Equality in Education on gender differences in school achievement. The rapid review from NIFU gives an overview of the possible causes for the gender differences and research based interventions mitigating unfortunate gender differences in school achievement. The peer-review from the OECD compares gender differences in school related outcomes in Norway with gender differences in other OECD countries and gives examples of interventions that might be suitable for Norway to implement based on national interventions from other countries.
